James became famous when the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV star. In 2020, he was picked to play the bachelor for season 25 of The Bachelor, becoming the first African American lead. The show premiered on the 20th of January in. James is the perfect fit for the job as is tall, beautiful and humorous. Rachael Krukconnell became his lover at the end of season. In 2021 he partnered with the famous dancer Arnold for the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th on the show.
